COVID-19 Mock Trial

Litigation attorney Sheila Shen will join the "COVID-19 Mock Trial" at the 2021 International Bar Association (IBA) Insurance Committee Conference. The session will be a friendly and lively mock trial, where volunteers will take on the roles (for argument only) of both a cedant and a reinsurer, so participants can hear how both sides of a reinsurance contract might argue their positions. The goal of the session is to answer the question: does COVID-19 constitute a natural peril, or one or more events?
