Writing a Persuasive Amicus Brief on Appeal

Constitutional and Public Law attorney Christopher Riano will moderate and speak on a New York Bar Association panel titled "Writing a Persuasive Amicus Brief on Appeal." This program will explore how lawyers can write persuasive and impactful amicus briefs in both state and federal courts. The panelists will explain how to research and write amicus briefs solo or in a group of lawyers. By better understanding the process, any attorney can add this work to their practice to provide additional services to clients or to better fortify their pro bono practice.
