PFAS and Beyond: Emerging Contaminants Regulation, Litigation, Recent Science, Risks and Liabilities
Strafford Webinar
Environment attorney Dianne Phillips will participate in a Strafford webinar examining issues related to per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). Speakers will provide an overview of research on PFAS and other emerging contaminants, including studies from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and state governments. They will also look at notable cases, both decided and ongoing, as well as analyze current trends in toxic tort litigation and chemical regulation. The conversation will also cover regulatory updates, such as the EPA's proposal to designate two of the most widely known PFAS as hazardous substances under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA).
