Seeing the Bigger (and Smaller) Picture: Small Business in Bid Protests
American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Public Contract Law Bid Protest Committee
6th Floor
Washington, DC 20006
Government Contracts attorney Amy Fuentes will moderate a panel discussion on small business issues in bid protests during the December meeting of the American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Public Contract Law's Bid Protest Committee. Panelists will address the process to challenge a federal agency's decision to set-aside — or not — a procurement for small businesses according to the Rule of Two, along with recertification requirements from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). Topics will also include the SBA's forthcoming rule change regarding recertification and its involvement in advisory opinions from the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO). This hybrid program will be offered in person at the Washington, D.C., office of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP as well as virtually via Zoom.
