Understanding Purchase and Sale Agreements

Real Estate attorney Maria Cortes will serve as a panelist for the "Essentials for Real Estate Practitioners Series," hosted by the American Bar Association's (ABA) Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law (RPTE). The virtual program is designed to equip aspiring real estate attorneys with the essential knowledge and skills needed to excel in negotiating and drafting for real estate transactions. Ms. Cortes will speak during a session on purchase and sale agreements (PSAs), where she will highlight the main components of a PSA and walk through how to draft key provisions. She will also point out common issues and help participants understand how different terms affect the rights and obligations of buyers and sellers.
