Housing Law Tetris: Finding the Policy That Fits Your Parcel

West Coast Land Use and Environment attorney Kevin Ashe will speak at the Fall 2025 OC Housing Leaders Forum & Fundraising Reception organized by People for Housing – Orange County on a panel titled "Housing Law Tetris: Finding the Policy That Fits Your Parcel." He will join industry leaders to unveil California's evolving infill housing toolkit, including Senate Bill (SB) 6, Assembly Bill (AB) 2011, SB 35/423, California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) exemptions and recent changes under AB 130 and SB 131, as well as discuss how to match the right pathway to a project's site, height and feasibility constraints. The program will also explore practical roles for counsel and design teams in navigating nuances such as wage, affordability and eligibility thresholds.
