The Promise and Peril of Stablecoin

Litigation attorney Andrew Balthazor, who co-leads the firm's Crypto Asset Dispute Team, will speak at the 2025 New York Bankers Association (NYBA) Financial Services Forum, taking place in Palm Beach, Florida. Attended by CEOs, CFOs and other members of bank executive management teams, the forum provides in-depth workshops on financial industry trends, economic challenges and emerging opportunities, alongside informal meetups and casual after-hours programming. Mr. Balthazor will lead a presentation on the final day of the event taking a look at the "promise and peril" of stablecoins, drawing on his experience solving complex problems arising from digital-era innovations to orient participants to the ways in which this form of cryptocurrency can launch or sink an organization.
