Fiduciary Duties: Longstanding Tools in an Ever-Evolving Landscape

Nonprofit and Tax-Exempt Organizations attorney Jonathan Blum will participate in UT Law CLE's 43rd Annual Nonprofit Organizations Institute, a two-day conference featuring discussions on tax, legislative and governance issues affecting nonprofit organizations ranging from private foundations to public charities. Mr. Blum will serve on the event's planning committee as well as host a session showcasing fiduciary duties as an area of focus for nonprofit boards. His presentation will explore how a focus on fiduciary responsibilities can help board members respond to evolving state and federal regulatory developments to strengthen governance and compliance. Holland & Knight will serve as an Institute Sponsor of the program, and attorney Andrew Grumet will attend the conference alongside Mr. Blum. Attorney Nykolas McKissic will additionally attend the conference, participating in the half-day Nonprofit Organizations Essentials program taking place the day prior to the institute.
