Investment Tools

Transactional attorney Kim Smith will present during the Council of Development Finance Agencies' (CDFA) virtual course exploring the basics of development finance. The day-long program will help attendees understand a variety of development finance tools, including bonds, tax credits, tax increment financing (TIF), revolving loan funds (RLFs) and federal financing programs. Ms. Smith will identify and describe investment tools that can propel job creation, real estate development, community revitalization and entrepreneurial growth. She will also review federal tax credit programs with a history of success and explain how to apply them to development opportunities.
