Advocacy Update: Florida State Law SB 700

Private Wealth Services attorney Kelly Hellmuth will speak on a webinar hosted by the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners addressing Florida Senate Bill (SB) 700. SB 700 restricts nonprofits registered to solicit donations in Florida from accepting contributions tied to certain "foreign countries of concern." During this session, Ms. Hellmuth will examine the implications for charities that solicit contributions or have funds solicited on their behalf, as well as compliance considerations under the new law.
