Higher Education at a Crossroads: Challenges for Counseling Colleges in the Current Climate

Litigation attorney Nathan Adams will present at the Stetson Law Review 2026 Symposium, which will focus on the most pressing issues facing the higher education industry today. With a theme of "Higher Education on Trial," speakers will address recent controversies, political pressures and rapid technological changes confronting colleges and universities. Mr. Adams' presentation will examine the challenges legal professionals advising institutions of higher education are currently facing, from governance to academic freedom to lawsuits. He will impart tips and strategies to guide schools amid broader questions around law and policy.
The symposium will take place in conjunction with Stetson University College of Law's 47th Annual National Conference on Law & Higher Education, where Mr. Adams will speak on a panel titled "Mergers, Acquisitions and Change of Control."
