From Factory Floor to Farm Gate: Industry on the USMCA Renegotiation
The Washington Foreign Law Society
Suite 1100
Washington, D.C. 20006
International Trade attorney Molly O'Casey will moderate a program hosted by The Washington Foreign Law Society previewing the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) review and sharing insights on what to watch as negotiations advance. Talks begin in July 2026, and the outcome could affect a wide swath of sectors, from agriculture and food policy to automotive and manufacturing. The U.S. is expected to come to the table proposing updates in a number of key areas to adapt to the new trade reality and address noncompliance among member parties. This discussion will feature professionals from an agricultural coalition, steel industry group and policy consortium, who will identify where stakeholders should focus their attention and how to advocate for their business interests. Holland & Knight will host the event in its Washington, D.C., office.
