Education attorneys Nathan Adams and Paul Lannon will speak at the National Association of College and University Attorneys' (NACUA) 2026 Annual Conference in Nashville, Tennessee. Holland & Knight will sponsor this event, which will convene lawyers practicing in all areas of higher education to explore the legal challenges facing clients and new developments affecting the industry. Mr. Adams will join a forum focused on religious and church-affiliated institutions, fielding a variety of questions about this area of law. Mr. Lannon will participate in a discussion about negotiating resolution agreements with the U.S. Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights (OCR) and U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), imparting tips for interacting with these federal agencies and breaking down the current administration's approach to civil rights enforcement.
