International Trade attorney Andrew McAllister will speak at the Northwest Regulatory Compliance Conference, a program designed to provide comprehensive coverage of compliance-related matters affecting regional businesses, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), import/export logistics, cybersecurity rules and trade control requirements. During his session, Mr. McAllister will provide an overview of the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), discussing key regulatory obligations, enforcement considerations and common compliance challenges facing companies engaged in international trade. Through analyzing case studies, he will examine real-world export control scenarios and lessons learned. The session will also highlight best practices for managing U.S. export control obligations, mitigating regulatory risk and strengthening compliance programs amid increasing scrutiny of global supply chains, controlled technologies and cross-border business activities.
