How Will We Know When It's Safe to Go Back to Work? Workers and Employers Want to Know.

Senior Counsel Gina Fonte was featured on NPR's Marketplace Morning Report discussing a highly debated question: When is it safe to return to work? As the economy reopens, employers and employees find themselves without a clear path forward — the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) does not yet have a blanket standard for protecting workers from infectious diseases, meaning there is no legally binding definition of a safe work environment as applied to COVID-19. Ms. Fonte described some states' efforts to set their own standards.
