Corporate Services attorney Ana Sofía Cabrales participated in the program "Al Paredón con Jorge Hernán Peláez," in which she spoke about the differences between a lawsuit and a complaint regarding consumer protection in Colombia. Ms. Cabrales explained the role of the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC), as the authority in charge of ensuring the protection of consumer rights. Ms. Cabrales said the SIC is in charge of receiving complaints and lawsuits issued by consumers. She also highlighted the importance of recognizing the differences between these two mechanisms, since the purpose of each one is totally different.
