Tom Davis: The takeaway from here for people in the audience was if you get a letter, the pain is mandatory, the suffering is optional.
Christopher J. Armstrong: All right, Tom, we just had a really, I thought, interesting panel: top Oversight staff, top Oversight members. What was your takeaway from it?
Tom Davis: Yeah, well, I mean, get counsel early, limit that damage, give them the information they want. Don't become the center of these investigations, because that's uncontrollable at that point in terms of brand damage and everything else.
