Holland & Knight Announces 2016 Young Native Writers Essay Contest Winners

The Holland & Knight Charitable Foundation, in partnership with the National Museum of the American Indian and the National Indian Education Association, is proud to announce the 2016 Young Native Writers Essay Contest winners. In addition to receiving a $2,500 scholarship to a college of their choice, essay winners will spend a week in Washington, D.C. to visit the National Museum of the American Indian and other prominent sites as a part of the Young Native Writers Essay Contest Scholar Week. The Young Native Writers Essay Contest is an annual writing contest for Native American high school students and is designed to encourage young Native Americans to write about their experiences as a member of a Native American community and the culture that inspires them.
