Holland & Knight's Native American Law Group is committed to keeping you up-to-date on the latest developments in federal Indian law, federal procurement, policy and regulatory matters to move Indian Country and its enterprises forward. Holland & Knight team members will be at the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development's National Reservation Economic Summit (RES) in Las Vegas on March 13-16, 2017.

Tuesday, March 14

Partner Tara Kaushik will moderate a 1:30 p.m. panel titled "Business Growth & Acquisition Financing Alternatives to Make It Happen." Later that day, at 4:15 p.m., Partner Kathleen Nilles will present on a panel titled "Tax Reform – Parity Treatment and Eliminating Dual Taxation Economic Activities on Tribal Lands."

Wednesday, March 15

Partner Bob Tompkins will speak at 10:45 a.m. on a panel titled "Mentor-Protégé Relationships – Value Propositions to Mentors and Protégés" that will focus on the U.S. Small Business Administration's (SBA) new mentor-protégé program for federal procurement.

Thursday March 16

Partner Walter Featherly will moderate a 9:15 a.m. panel titled "Native-to-Native Joint Ventures – Developing Relationships Between Tribal Enterprises, Alaska Native Corporation-Owned Businesses."

Partner James Meggesto and Associate Sarah Curtis will also be in attendance.
