Measures to Reduce the Backlog in Updating Cadastral to Property

Corporate Services attorney Natalia Dávila wrote an article for Lexir about measures to reduce the lag in updating cadastral appraisals in Colombia. Ms. Dávila speaks about the measures, presented in article 49 of Law 2294 of 2023, whose purpose is to carry out an automatic adjustment of the values that have not been updated or created in the last five years by the Geographic Institute Agustín Codazzi (IGAC). She also explains the concerns and obligations that this law presents.
