The Global Trade Law Journal
Ronald A. Oleynik | Andrew K. McAllister | Sophie Jin

International Trade attorneys Ronald Oleynik, Andrew McAllister and Sophie Jin co-authored an article for The Global Trade Law Journal discussing the United States Trade Representative's (USTR) final modifications on Section 301 tariffs related to China. The updates, announced in 2024, include increased tariffs on various products, with specific exclusions offered for solar manufacturing equipment and machinery. In their article, the attorneys advise companies to prepare for higher prices on Chinese-origin goods and consider adjusting supply chains as a result of these tariff hikes and the potential removal of de minimis exemptions.

The authors also published a Holland & Knight alert on this topic.
