"I think the most important lesson I learned is the critical need to foster professional and courteous communications with opposing counsel throughout the course of the litigation," Ms. Allderdice said. "Though challenging at times, it is important to set aside personal views about one's adversary as the dispute is not personal between counsel for the parties."
