TSA Headquarters Ruling Could Alter the Landscape for Federal Real Estate Leasing
A federal judge's ruling could help losing landlords get a second chance at major General Services Administration leasing deals. The ruling indicates that the federal court is willing to use its authority to terminate a lease after the GSA has fully executed it. GSA Leasing attorney Robert MacKichan said that this step could give other losing bidders a second chance if they can make a case that they've been unfairly treated by the federal agency.
"I think that this will be very meaningful to other competitors in the lease procurement process," MacKichan said.
