"From a local election perspective, the D.C. Council races turned out as expected," said Ms. Jackson. "I believe that businesses with a national presence who operate in the District of Columbia will continue to find D.C.'s elected officials advancing a progressive agenda that, from the national election results, seem to be inconsistent with what middle America and the majority of Americans believe."
