Mr. Saft shared his experience with representing a condo board for CitySpire in the early 1990s and how it led to him drafting a piece of condo financing legislation.
“I needed to find $6 million to satisfy the creditors’ requirements, but no one wanted to lend to a condominium because there was no collateral,” said Mr. Saft.
