Partner Ronald Oleynik was featured in an article on Law.com after President Donald Trump's proposal to impose more tariffs valued at $200 billion on Chinese imports. This would equate to tariffs on half of all Chinese imports. If these tariffs go into effect as planned on Sept. 24, then China is expected to put tariffs on another $60 billion on American products. Many corporations are beginning to discuss how to avoid such tariffs with their legal teams and looking for new countries to import too.
“The number of clients we have is going to multiply tenfold. There are going to be a lot of people looking to deal with this,” Mr. Oleynik said.
