Brazil, Colombia: Good M&A Outlook
Mergers and Acquisitions attorney Luis Rubio Barnetche shared his thoughts about recent projections for mergers and acquisitions in Latin America. He explained that in Mexico, although the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) could generate investment interest, uncertainty about local policies has left investors wary.
“In Mexico, investors have been increasingly wary as [President Andres Manuel] Lopez Obrador seeks to completely transform the country and do away with important legal reforms, independent regulatory agencies and market friendly policies,” he told Latinvex.
