Data Strategy, Security and Privacy Partner Danilo Romero Raad was interviewed for an article published in Asuntos Legales in relation to the opening of three shopping centers in Medellin and the instruction given by Mayor Daniel Quintero for those who want to go to the centers to enter personal data related to their health status in an app. Mr. Romero Raad offered his opinion on the situation.
"To avoid a violation of the right to privacy, only personal data that is necessary for the purpose it serves should be requested," he explained.
