Holland & Knight Adds Ex-DLA Piper Finance Partner
Financial Services Partner Kevin Gooch spoke with Law360 about joining the firm. He emphasized that Atlanta offers great opportunities to advise clients in financial services and noted his excitement to join a firm that has an established track record and more of a bench to handle lender-side transactions. Mr. Gooch has extensive experience in private equity transactions and his background advising funds adds a new dimension to the Atlanta office.
"It's sort of a sweet spot where you have corporate borrowers that have needs and you have a growing banking industry that is becoming, if it's not already, a regional powerhouse for banking," Mr. Gooch said. "And in Atlanta — because of the cost of living and the tier of legal market — there is more rate flexibility than New York or L.A. or D.C."
