Global Minimum Tax for Large Businesses Will Have Little Impact in Mexico

Tax Partner Eugenio Grageda was cited in an article published by El Heraldo de México about how a 15 percent global minimum tax could affect Mexico. Mr. Grageda commented that the tax will have a minimal impact on the country.

"It is an agreement that falls short of stopping tax avoidance, because 15 percent is still much more attractive than 30 percent applicable in Mexico, and the gains for our country will depend on whether or not it is adopted and how many countries do so," he said.
