5th Circ May Be Stepping Stone to Justices' Take on ACA

Labor, Employment and Benefits attorney Rachel Shim was quoted in a Law360 article about the potential outcome of oral arguments before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit concerning the U.S. government's push to block a lower court ruling that allows health insurers to refuse to cover a host of preventative treatments. The article discusses the likelihood of the battle over the Affordable Care Act (ACA) reaching the U.S. Supreme Court. 

"This is eventually going to get to the Supreme Court...So there's definitely a reason to just sit back and wait," when it comes to making changes to coverage for these treatments while the case is on appeal, Ms. Shim said.
