Litigation attorney Andrew Loewenstein was mentioned in a Federal Bar Association article about the organization's Civics Day program held during Constitution Week in Memphis, Tennessee. As the national coordinator of this year's program, Mr. Loewenstein joined federal judges and attorney volunteers in engaging with students through interactive classroom Q&A sessions. He shared how his family history influenced his path to a career in law and said students responded well to these personal reflections when talking about significant Constitutional issues.
“The story of my grandfather’s escape from Nazi Germany and his service in the U.S. Army as a physician motivated my career choice, and it seemed to resonate with the students when we asked them about the Constitutional rights and protections that are most meaningful in their daily lives," he said.
