Hoover Files for Certificate of Need for Ambulatory Surgery, Medical Diagnostics Center

Healthcare attorney Colin Luke was interviewed for an article in the Hoover Sun regarding a certificate of need filed by the Hoover Health Care Authority with the state of Alabama for a new ambulatory surgery center (ASC) and medical diagnostics center. City officials in Hoover have proposed that the former Regions Bank campus be converted into a mixed-use office park featuring the proposed ASC and medical diagnostic center as key anchor points for the development. 

At a press briefing about the proposal, Mr. Luke shared his excitement for the project, stating that the building they are hoping to convert “seems as if it was designed to be a healthcare facility.”
