Labor and employment attorney Camilo Cuervo was interviewed by El Tiempo about pension contributions by days or weeks in Colombia. The article explained that this modality allows connection to the pension, occupational risk and family subsidy systems for people who work for periods of less than a month and earn less than a monthly minimum wage. "Regarding the issue of daily contributions, it can be done, as long as the person does not work more than 20 days a month, because if they work 21 days, they are already obliged to contribute for the entire month," he said.
