Law Firms Joust for Attention as Clients Weigh Trump Policy Blitz

Public Policy & Regulation Group Leader Rich Gold was cited in a Reuters article on how law firms are responding to an uptick in requests for legal counsel following the first few days of the Trump Administration. The slew of executive orders signed by President Donald Trump this week has left companies scrambling for answers, and firms including Holland & Knight have produced a number of alerts and webinars explaining what's changed and providing guidance on the path forward. Mr. Gold commented on the pace of orders, saying they are "changing the direction of the government" while also noting "the actual application of how that will change and impact the economy is usually through rulemaking."
