The Spanish company announced it would cease use of the trademark in question and create a new image. Analysists interviewed by El Colombiano reacted to two hypotheses to explain this development, including the possibility of negotiations regarding franchising. Mr. Romero expressed doubts about the viability of the franchise model that Frisby Spain intends to implement.
"When a franchise model is granted, it is because there is already a business that is operating, including the possibility of expanding the franchise to other territories, but Frisby Spain does not have it in operation," he said.
