U.S. Landlords' Antitrust Settlements Not End of Algorithmic Pricing
Antitrust attorney Kenneth Racowski was quoted in an MLex article examining how recent federal settlements involving algorithmic pricing tools are shaping enforcement expectations and compliance strategies across the economy. Mr. Racowski highlights that regulators are increasingly focused on how pricing software uses and shares data, how contracting and governance can limit the exchange of competitively sensitive information, and how traditional antitrust principles are being applied to emerging AI-enabled pricing tools.
"This cuts across all industries, and there's very few industries left in 2025 that don't rely on some level of pricing software and algorithms — even if not shared across other competitors," he said.
