Greenland Dispute Could Increase Pressure on Mexico

Turenna Ramírez Ortiz, who leads the firm's international trade practice in Mexico, was interviewed by Reforma about how the dispute between the United States and the European Union over Greenland could increase pressure on Mexico ahead of key negotiations with the Trump Administration and the upcoming review of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA). Ms. Ramírez Ortiz underscored the importance of Mexico staying alert and preparing internally to respond to trade priorities and other issues relevant to the bilateral agenda.

"There is a need for the government to reorganize internally to address both the United States’ requests on trade matters and other issues that appear to be priorities," she said.
