Mr. Arza observed that conditions are improving for single-family home development as sellers become more willing to put land on the market. He also discussed the potential impact of Florida's new Senate Bill 1434, also known as the Infill Redevelopment Act, which would preempt local land use and zoning regulations to authorize residential development on certain parcels. He shared what the bill could mean for development opportunities in South Florida.
"How this new regulation plays out, particularly in the context of larger tracts such as golf courses, could be market moving," he said.
