House Communications & Technology Committee Holds Informational Meeting on Quantum Technologies

Federal Government Affairs Practice Leader Paul Stimers testified during the Pennsylvania House of Representatives' Communications & Technology Committee informational meeting about the benefits quantum technology could bring to the state. Paul, who also co-leads Holland & Knight's Quantum Computing Team, spoke in his capacity as founder and director of the Quantum Industry Coalition. He outlined the possibilities for computing, sensing, communications and cybersecurity that these emerging technologies present, particularly as quantum computing transitions from research and development to commercial application.

"Quantum computing has the potential to bring tremendous new capabilities and economic activity to the nation and to Pennsylvania. We are pleased that the committee is addressing this important topic and honored to participate," Paul stated.
