They've Got Next: The 40 Under 40 – Alejandro Arias of Holland & Knight

Real Estate attorney Alejandro Arias was featured in a Q&A with Bloomberg Law as part of its "40 Under 40" series. Alex talked about his recent work securing entitlements for student housing projects totaling more than 4,000 beds near Florida International University as well as the Flagler Center District, a $4.56 billion master-planned development in Sweetwater, Florida. He also reflected on the lessons he learned from his mentors, his own approach to leadership and mentorship, pro bono work and his commitment to shaping the community where he was born and raised. He also emphasized the lasting impact that successful development projects can have on the communities they serve.

"Every building that is erected, every community that is transformed, every project that moves from the spectrum of vision to reality – these are the clear markers of success in land use and zoning law," he said.
