The National Law Journal Ranks Holland & Knight Among the Top Five Lobbying Firms in the Nation

WASHINGTON, D.C. - November 9, 2011 The National Law Journal has ranked Holland & Knight among the top five most successful lobbying firms in the nation in its annual "Influence 50" list.

The "Influence 50" list reports overall rankings of law and lobbying firms based on revenues from lobbying fees. The rankings are determined by revenues as reported by firms complying with the Lobbying Disclosure Act (LDA) of 1995.

The National Law Journal also surveys practices at dozens of law and lobbying firms to collect information about lobbying at the state and local level. The result is the most complete picture of lobbying revenue available.

Overall, 2010 was a successful year for lobbyists, with gross revenue for the firms on the list rising 5.5 percent. Holland & Knight's revenues from lobbying work grew 14.2 percent during the past year, earning the firm a #5 ranking.

"Through the years and changes in political climates, Holland & Knight is consistently ranked among the top firms because of our bipartisan approach and depth of experience," said Rich Gold, head of the firm's Public Policy & Regulation Group. "The advocacy we perform for our clients is backed by a firm with nationwide resources and longstanding relationships on both sides of the aisle."
