Michael Werner Named Among Top 50 Global Stem Cell Influencers

WASHINGTON, D.C. (March 14, 2013) — Holland & Knight partner Michael Werner was recently named one of the Top 50 Global Stem Cell Influencers by Total BioPharma.

On March 11, Total BioPharma released the results of their global survey of the international Stem Cell community to gauge who is making waves and influencing the progress of the global Stem Cell industry. Mr. Werner was ranked #48 on the list of world-renowned academics, industry players, and governmental officials.

Mr. Werner has nearly three decades of healthcare law, lobbying, policy development, and regulatory experience in Washington, D.C. In addition to forming the Alliance for Regenerative Medicine and serving as its executive director, he was a founding board member of the Coalition for the Advancement of Medical Research, and is the former chief of policy for the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO), representing more than 1000 biotechnology companies in the U.S. and other countries.
