Holland & Knight Advises Lender in $300 Million Faena Condominium Deal
MIAMI (February 14, 2014) – Holland & Knight recently represented HSBC Bank USA in the largest private residential financing in the Southeast since the recession.
HSBC acted as the lender to international developers Faena Group and Access Industries in the $300 million financing of their new 18-story oceanfront condominium development and renovation of a luxury hotel at the site of the former Saxony Hotel on Collins Avenue.
Real estate partner John Halula and associate Ilana Strickon advised the bank in the transaction. The team also assisted HSBC with a recent $251 million loan for a luxury retail project in Miami's Design District.
