The Bond Buyer Ranks Holland & Knight Among Top Five Counsel for Competitive Bond Offerings
ATLANTA (July 21, 2014) – Holland & Knight was ranked the fifth most active bond counsel in the United States for competitive offerings in The Bond Buyer's 2014 mid-year rankings of Top Bond Counsel. According to the data, which was supplied by Thomson Reuters, Holland & Knight served as bond counsel on competitive offerings worth $1.27 billion, representing a market share of 3.5 percent.
During the first half of 2014, Holland & Knight served as bond counsel in competitive offerings by the State of Georgia and the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority, which were both reported on in The Bond Buyer, and each of which were a part of the firm's new expanded public finance initiative launched earlier this year. The firm also served as bond counsel on a number of other offerings, including those from the City of Alpharetta (Georgia), the City of Lakeland (Florida), the Florida Higher Educational Facilities Financing Authority and Polk County (Florida).
