“Holland & Knight continues to focus its expansion efforts in North and South America. Houston is critical to this strategy, adding to the firm’s growing presence in Texas and serving as one of the primary gateways to Latin America for U.S. businesses,” said Steven Sonberg, managing partner. “The addition of this outstanding team also expands our litigation capabilities in Texas with a solid client base in industries key to the firm, such as energy, financial services, real estate and intellectual property. I am confident that under Brad’s leadership our Houston office will grow to provide a broad array of services to our clients.”
“Chris and I look forward to leading Holland & Knight’s expansion into the Houston market. The city has the largest economy in Texas and the opportunities here for the firm are significant, given its mix of practices and growing reputation in the state,” said Mr. Hancock. “We believe that our experience in the Houston business and legal communities, as well as the combination of our clients and practices with those of the firm, will serve as a strong foundation for success.”
