Holland & Knight Partner Matt Donohue Is New President of Multnomah Bar Foundation
PORTLAND, Ore. (January 2, 2018) – Holland & Knight Partner Matt Donohue is the new president of the Multnomah Bar Foundation. His one-year term began January 1. He has been a board member of the Foundation since 2015 and most recently served as vice president.
"It is an honor and privilege to be selected to lead the Multnomah Bar Foundation," said Mr. Donohue. "I look forward to working with our members to help the Foundation educate our citizens about the rule of law, the need for an independent judiciary and the importance of juries."
Mr. Donohue is an established lead trial counsel with jury and bench trial victories in courtrooms across the country. He is a co-leader of the firm’s class action litigation and arbitration practice. In addition to trying class actions, contract and licensing disputes, partnership and shareholder disputes, unfair competition claims and intellectual property claims, Mr. Donohue has particular skill resolving high-stakes business disputes prior to litigation being filed. He represents clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies.
