Holland & Knight Advises Fibra UNO on $1 Billion International Offering

MEXICO CITY (June 26, 2019) – Holland & Knight advised Fibra UNO in its international offering of $1 billion in senior notes. The offering was divided into two tranches, $400 million at a rate of 4.869% maturing in 2030 and $600 million at a rate of 6.39 percent maturing in 2050. Both were issued in accordance with Rule 144A and Regulation S under the United States Securities Act of 1933. The offering took place on June 25.

The successful offering was oversubscribed 4.5 times, exceeding the initial target amount of $800 million.

"This placement is proof of the quality of the issuer and confidence of investors despite difficulties in the markets for Mexican issuers," said Guillermo Uribe Lara, the Mexico City-based partner who led the Holland & Knight team.

Bank of America Securities, Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Inc., HSBC Securities (USA) Inc., Actinver Securities, Inc., BBVA Securities Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, JP Morgan Securities LLC, and Santander Investment Securities Inc. acted as bookrunners.

Fibra UNO, Mexico's largest real estate investment trust, has been advised by Holland & Knight team members on all of its financing transactions since 2011.
