Holland & Knight Advises City Pipe & Supply in Acquisition by Russel Metals

CHICAGO (October 8, 2019) – Holland & Knight represented City Pipe & Supply Corp., a 100 percent employee-owned company, in connection with its sale to Russel Metals Inc. The deal closed on October 1.

City Pipe & Supply is an industry leader in supplying quality pipe, valves and fittings to the upstream, midstream and downstream sectors of the oil and gas industry. It operates distribution centers in Odessa, Big Spring, Longview and Weatherford, Texas, as well as Hobbs, New Mexico.

Russel Metals is one of the largest metals distribution and processing companies in North America. Headquartered in Mississauga, Canada, the company operates in three metals distributions segments: metals service centers, energy products and steel distributors.
