Holland & Knight Advises Sonnen Motorcars on Sale of Porsche, Audi and VW Dealerships to indiGO Auto Group

MIAMI (November 13, 2019) – Holland & Knight represented Sonnen Motorcars in the sale of its Sonnen Porsche, Audi Marin and VW Marin dealerships to indiGO Auto Group. The deal closed on November 4.

Sonnen Motorcars has been a dealer of Porsche, Audi and VW automobiles for many years in Marin County, California. The majority owner, Peter Sonnen, is retiring.

indiGO Auto Group represents 14 franchised dealerships in five United States markets including Houston, Texas; Rancho Mirage, California; Riverside, California; Palm Springs, California; and St. Louis, Missouri. It is a subsidiary of Pon Holdings, a Holland-based company with diverse assets in the transportation industry.

The Holland & Knight team was led by Partner Stephen Dietrich. Haig Partners was the financial advisor to Sonnen. Bass Sox Mercer represented indiGO, while DHG provided accounting and consulting services.
